[A white envelope with Leo's name written on the front bears a pink wax seal with the rose crest embossed into it and is slid underneath his door shortly after dawn.]

Mr. Whitefang,

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Juri Arisugawa, the head of Rose Crest Agencies. I represent the Arena, among others, and would like to speak with you about the possibility of your participation in the upcoming month's fights. I believe you would draw quite the crowd of spectators, and Major General Armstrong has personally recommended you to me.

Should you find this to be in your interests, please meet with me later today in the garden terrace after lunch. I have enclosed my business card should you wish to contact me directly.

[A box has been left outside of Leo's room, full of baked goods like cookies and small cakes. There's no indication on who it is from.

Added to the box is a pair of knitted gloves and a scarf with hood in his colors.

On second thought, he might be able to figure out who it is from the knitwork, maybe.]

X-mas Gift

[Leo will receive a very nice suit tailored perfectly to his size so that he could still fight in it if necessary. Included with the suit and matching tie are gold cufflinks in the form of the Rose Crest symbol. He will also find a gag gift that is actually big enough for him since Juri did get a look at it.]

[There's a decent sized package at Leo's door, dropped off by one of the maids, and pretty fragile if the sign meant anything. When he opens it up, there is a pack of different flavored beers. There's one thing tucked away and pretty secure: a citrine necklace as well as a note.]

Dear Leo,

I'm sorry that I suddenly vanished without telling you what happened but...I found myself back in my own realm. A lot has happened since I first came to Eros and I wouldn't know where to begin. In all honesty, I'd rather have you see it for yourself because there are many things that cannot be spoken but seen with only eyes. And you're one of the few I want to share that with.

When this letter and package finds you, I'll be back in this strange world but not in Eros or Onsra. It's a strange place called Carne...reminds me a bit of Limsa Lominsa. Except for the part where it moves. I never heard of a city that walks all over the land! Oh sorry, I must be getting ahead of myself. I'm not used to writing letters all that much. I guess what I want to say is not to be worry and I'll be back soon.
